Felipe Reyes, Sr.

Felipe Reyes Sr., 43, of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 o'clock in the morning on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock in the evening on Sunday at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Felipe was born on March 3, 1974 in Mexico to Jose Guadalupe and Adelaida (Franco) Reyes. He married Yolanda Reyes on September 2, 1995 in Zacatecas Mexico, the couple would move to Dumas where they would raise their children and make their home. Felipe loved to ride horses but more importantly, he had a deep love for his family. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother: Saul Reyes. Felipe is survived by his wife, Yolanda, of the home; children: Felipe Reyes Jr., Victoria Reyes and Diana Reyes, all the home; parents: Jose Guadalupe and Adelaida Reyes of Zacatecas, MX; sister: Lupita Reyes of Zacatecas, MX; brothers: Ricardo Reyes and Luis Miguel Reyes, both of Etter; sisters: Rafaela Moreno of Houston, Manuela Reyes of Etter, Rosey Reyes of Longview, TX, Lucia Reyes of Longview, TX, Maria Cruz Reyes and Margarita Reyes, all of Zacatecas, MX; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
