Michael Lee Willis, age 67, of College Corner, OH, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 16, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was born January 31, 1948 in Hamilton, OH, the son of Harry and Betty Lou (Thompson) Willis. Michael was a skilled electrician and worked for 30 years for Champion International in multi-craft maintenance in both the mill and the office building. After retirement Michael continued to work as an electrician, first, for Pearson Electric and then as a contracted electrician. Additionally, Michael was the Captain of the Williamsdale Fire Department and was a longtime member of the Monkey Mutual Aid Society, the Knights of Columbus, and the Eagles.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Pat and Douglas (Dougie); and a step-son, Kenneth Jay. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; four daughters, Jennifer (Cecil) Crouch, Geri (Jimmy) Stevens, Kristi Baillie and Christie Lee Schulz; 10 grandchildren; and a brother, Greg (Rose) Willis.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:30pm at the Ogle – Paul R. Young Funeral Home, Oxford, OH. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 22 at Noon also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, OH.
