Roberto Orellano Obituary

Roberto Orellano passed away peacefully at Danbury Hospital on May 13, 2021. Roberto was born on February 11, 1950 in Santurce, Puerto Rico to the late Nelida (Guevarez) and Francisco Pagan.

Roberto was a loving individual who always went out of his way to take care of his family and friends. He was a proud graduate of Danbury High School and star athlete in football, baseball and softball from 1969-73. In High School he was All-FCIAC, All-State, and broke many rushing and scoring records at DHS. He went on to play at Holy Cross from 1969-1973. He played in the Danbury Industrial Softball League from 1973-76. He was Director of Spanish Learning Center and also served at Ability Beyond Disability.

Roberto is survived by his sister Letty Pagan and brother Ivan Pagan, sister-in-law Susanne, nephews, Alexander Medina, Joseph Medina, Nick Pagan and Mike Pagan

A Celebration of life Gathering will be held on Friday May 21, 2021 at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT 06810) from 10am – 11am with a prayer service to begin at 11am. The services will also be livestreamed from his obituary page.
