<p>David Allen Tumbleson, 61, of Idabel, passed from this life May 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was born July 7, 1959 in LaMesa, CA, to George and Phyllis (Bryan) Tumbleson.<br /> David had lived in McCurtain County since 1987 coming from California.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was a licensed professional counselor and worked with the recovery program in McCurtain County.&nbsp;&nbsp;He had received many important certificates from the American Counsel Association.&nbsp;&nbsp;David had received in master&rsquo;s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2014.&nbsp;&nbsp;He also enjoyed fishing, boating, skiing, and being at the lake.&nbsp;&nbsp;David loved to go 4-wheeler riding, camping, and being outdoors.<br /> David married Darlene Hilton in 1995 in Hope, AR.&nbsp;&nbsp;They enjoyed traveling together.<br /> David was preceded in death by his father, George Tumbleson; grandparents, George and Florence Tumbleson, Roland and Esther Bryan, and Ray and Ellen Wellington.<br /> David is survived by his loving wife, Darlene, of the Idabel; mother, Phyllis Gammon, of Harrisonville, Missouri; son, Robert Baker, and wife, Shelby, of Judsonia, AR; daughter, Tabatha McKamie, of Hope, AR; brother, George Tumbleson, of Harrisonville, Missouri; sisters, Liz Crozier, and husband, Phil, of Boise, Idaho, and Susan Huddleston, of Sesser, Illinois; grandchildren, Heaven, Stormy, Sunny, Tryston, Ashlie, James, Trevor, and Angel; 16 Great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Lisa and Brenda; along with numerous other relatives and many other friends.</p> <p>A Celebration of Memorial Service will be Saturday at 12:30pm.&nbsp; Lunch will be provided at 12:00pm at the Choctaw Nation Community Center in Idabel.&nbsp; The family has asked for all who knew David come share their memories of him and listen to his recovery story.<br /> <br /> &nbsp;</p>

David Allen Tumbleson, 61, of Idabel, passed from this life May 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born July 7, 1959 in LaMesa, CA, to George and Phyllis (Bryan) Tumbleson.
