Benoit Vienneau

Benoit "Ben" Vienneau, of Picot Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday May 12, 2021 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst New Brunswick at the age of 87. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Leonard and Clara (Hébert) Vienneau. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Isabelle (Doucet) Vienneau and is survived by his wife, Jeannette Hachey Lavigne. Loving father of Ron Vienneau (late Roseline), Ed Vienneau ( Carole Nellis ) and Elaine Saunders all of Oshawa, ON. Pre-deceased by two sons Ross and Larry. Cherished Grandpa of Sean (Ashleigh), Kaylee, and Brady (Aliyah) and Great Grandpa of Liam, and Camden. One sister, Milly O'Neil of Montreal, QC and one brother, Emile Vienneau of Bathurst, and his siblings that have passed before him. Lovingly remembered by his three stepchildren: Nancy Ann Noël (Ghislain) of Allardville, Kim Lavigne of Moncton and Lyndia Lavigne Arseneau (Eric) of Beresford, and his four step-grandchildren. Will be lovingly remembered by his several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon May 18, 2021 at 2 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst with all Covid restriction in place.
