Dolores Hernandez, our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at her home on May 14 th at the age of 89 after a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe and son Richard.
She is survived by her son Roland Hernandez (Rosie), daughters Rachel Hernandez, Deborah Wyatt and Deanna Payton. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was born and raised in Santa Barbara, moved to Oxnard when she married Joe where she was a homemaker for over 60 years.
Mom will be remembered for her love of animals, watching TCM, shopping and enjoying trips to Las Vegas and Chumash.
Dolores will be deeply missed by her family and friends – we love you!
Service for Dolores will be held on June 4 th at 7:00 PM at Reardon’s Funeral Home in Oxnard.
