Mrs. Kathleen C. Ross, 73, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2 PM in Pinewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30PM before the funeral. Kathleen was born in Greene Co. where she lived until she got married to Wayland Ross on July 4, 1969. They then made their home in Pitt Co. Kathleen was employed with Wells Fargo until her retirement in 2009. She loved doing crafts, sewing, playing Bunco, and making her children happy. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Other than her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by a son, James Ashley Ross. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wayland Ross; son, Kevin Ross and wife, Pamela; grandsons, Austin Ross and Blake Ross; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Townsend and Sybil Elks; and her baby girl, Trixie.
