William "Will" Andrew Lardin

William Andrew Lardin, 44 passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at his home in Winston Salem, NC.  He was born November 8, 1976, in Thomasville, GA to William Arthur Lardin, MD. and Sharon Chastain Lardin.  Will was a Wake Forest Alumni, Class of 1999, with a major in Computer Science.  The majority of his career and hobbies revolved around computer application development and support.   From an early age, he studied violin, piano, and harp. He was a cross-country cyclist and participated in many road cycling tours, including the Bicycle Ride Across Georgia. Will had a keen appreciation of music, enjoyed rock climbing, and was an avid, talented photographer.   William will always be remembered by the plethora of friends and loving family for his generosity of spirit and sagacious intellect.  He was a steadfast and doting father whose love of friendship was as unwavering as was his resolute stance as an environmentalist. His was a gentle spirit, kind, loyal, and persevering in the face of difficulties.   He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford and Evelyn Webb Chastain of Dalton, GA. He is survived by his parents, William Arthur Lardin, MD and Sharon Chastain Lardin of Thomasville, GA; daughter Cheyenne Lardin of Winston Salem, NC; stepdaughter Brooke Canter of Lewisville, NC; stepson Justin Canter of Winston Salem, NC; brothers Harvey Lardin (Kelly) of Chicago, ILL, and Clifford Lardin (Heather) of Havertown, PA; nieces Julia and Sarah Lardin of Chicago, ILL; niece Anna and nephew Joshua Lardin of Havertown, PA.; aunt Joan Lardin of Atlanta, GA; and uncle  Lester  Chastain (Joan) of Dalton; and numerous cousins.
