<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Loretta J. Hopp, age 70, of Norman, passed away May 14, 2021.&nbsp; She was born September 11, 1950, in Novato, California, to the late J.R. and Julia Ryan.&nbsp; Loretta graduated from St. Anthony&rsquo;s on Oklahoma City with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree and later received her Master in Library Science from the University of Oklahoma.&nbsp; She passed on her commitment to education on to her children and grandchildren.&nbsp; After working as a Register Nurse in the operating room at Norman Regional for several years, she moved into Quality Assurance at the hospital before retiring.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Loretta was an accomplished cook, an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, gardening, hummingbirds and watching movies.&nbsp; A loving mother, sister and grandmother, she will be deeply missed.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, David Hopp; and her beloved canine companions, Zoe and Zelda.&nbsp; She is survived by her three sons, Marcus Hayes, Matthew Reeser and Robert Hopp; one daughter, Melissa Reeser; one brother, Jim Ryan, Jr.; four sisters, Kathy de Silva, Pattie Colbert, Melissa Ryan and Susan Forman; five grandchildren, Julia Rose Hayes, Heather Rose Hayes, Ryleigh Reeser, Rhagen Reeser and Ryan Reeser; and many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Loretta J. Hopp, age 70, of Norman, passed away May 14, 2021.  She was born September 11, 1950, in Novato, California, to the late J.R. and Julia Ryan.  Loretta graduated from St. Anthony’s on Oklahoma City with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree and later received her Master in Library Science from the University of Oklahoma.  She passed on her commitment to education on to her children and grandchildren.  After working as a Register Nurse in the operating room at Norman Regional for several years, she moved into Quality Assurance at the hospital before retiring.
