Phillip L. Cross age 88 of Stratford, loving husband of 65 years to the late Elizabeth J. (Grant) Cross passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, May 13, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Born in St. Albans City, Vermont, he was the son of the late Edmond and Bernice Greene Cross. Phillip spent 4 years in the Navy during the Korea Conflict as a Metal Smith Class A earning the National Defense Service Ribbon while aboard the USS Briareus. He was a certified master welder, working as a rigger for Myers Co. and was a member of the carpenters union.

He leaves behind his three sons, Philip and wife Amelia, John and his wife Karen and Patrick, his grandchildren John, J. Grant and Caroline, his sister Conchita (Winnie) Rincon along with many nieces and nephews. Philip was predeceased by his brothers Edmond and Mitchell Cross.
