Watch Livestream Mrs. Mary Freeman Cain, 95, of College Hill, Kentucky, the widow of James William “Bill” Cain, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021. Mrs. Cain was born in Madison County, on August 13, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Jack and Fannie Perkins Freeman. She was a loving mother and grandmother who encouraged and supported her family in their many endeavors. She loved UK Sports and she loved to cook for family and friends. Mrs. Cain was a retired Deputy Clerk of The Madison County Circuit Court and was a member of The College Hill United Methodist Church. Survivors include her three children: Brenda Cain Harris (Bobby), James William “Jimmy” Cain, Jr. (Brenda) and Jesse Thomas Cain (Tina); her twin sister: Ella Park; six grandchildren: Terri Hudson, Todd Cain (Julie), Tad Cain (Nikki), Tyler Cain (Lauren), Mary Margaret Brumley and Robert William “Robb” Harris (Kelly); fourteen great-grandchildren: Haley Hudson, Mitchell Cain, Addy Cain, Harper Cain, Salem Cain, Andrew Cain, Taylor Cain, Will Cain, Kennedy Cain, Claire Cain, Emma Kate Brumley, Elle Brumley, Riley Harris and Cade Harris as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Harry Freeman, Gilbert Freeman and Raymond Freeman. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Monday, May 17, 2021 at The College Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Fort officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery. There will be a live-stream of the service available on our website beginning at 3PM Monday. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 PM Sunday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home. Visitation prior to the funeral on Monday will begin at 2:00 PM at the church. Pallbearers will be Todd Cain, Tad Cain, Tyler Cain, Robb Harris, Karl Park and Mike Park. Honorary Pallbearers will be the remaining grandchildren and the great-grandchildren. The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
