Jay Neil Torrance, age 76, of West Mifflin, passed away on May 13, 2021. Jay is survived by beloved wife of 51 years, Nancy; son, John (Brenda) Torrance; sister, Cathy Brentwood; grandsons, Aaron and Nathan; and niece, Cathy Jo Leco. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hazel (Walters) Torrance; brother, George Robert "Bob" Torrance; and infant brother, John Richard Torrance. Jay was a proud Army Veteran. He served during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in Turkey. Jay retired from Allegheny MHMR where he worked for many years. Jay was a long time member and deacon at Baldwin United Presbyterian. In his spare time, he enjoyed sitting on his front porch and spending time with his family. Friends will be received on Monday, May 17th from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
