<p>Mary Theresa DiMatteo, age 93, passed away on May 10, 2021.&nbsp; Born in Denver, CO, she was the daughter of&nbsp; Mary and Frank Bohte,&nbsp; She was was the first of eight children, Frank,&nbsp; Agnes (Lester Johnson), Dorothy (Weldon Thomas), Peter (Joan), Paul, Anna Mae (Bob Pekish), Lillian (Larry Shoup). Mary went to elementary school at Holy Rosary Catholic School in Globeville and graduated from Annunciation High School.</p> <p>Following World War II, Mary met John S. DiMatteo at Daniels &amp; Fisher Tower where they both worked.&nbsp; Mary and John were married for 71 years and raised a loving family.&nbsp; She lost her husband last year. While her family grieves her passing, they take comfort knowing that John and Mary are together again.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>A lifetime resident of north Denver, Mary had a long and successful career at Western Slavonic Association.&nbsp; She was a member of Saint Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Mary is survived by sons John and Edward of Lakewood, CO, daughter Carol Litvinas (Anthony) of&nbsp; Woodbridge, VA, and daughter Ann Hoban (Michael) of Glenwood Springs.&nbsp; She is fondly remembered by five grandchildren --&nbsp; Nichole Fitzgerald (Jay), Anthony Litvinas Jr. (Eryn), Matthew Litvinas (Natalie), Michael Hoban (Lauren), and John Hoban.&nbsp; She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, her brother, Frank and sister Dorothy, many nieces and nephews, and wonderful neighbors and friends.</p> <p>Services for Mary will be at St. Catherine of Sienna on Wednesday May 26, 2021, viewing at 9 AM, rosary at 9:30 AM followed by funeral Mass at 10 AM.&nbsp; &nbsp;Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 3pm on Wednesday May 26, 2021.&nbsp; The family requests that donations be made to St Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Please share memories of Mary &amp; condolences with her family by visiting the tribute wall.&nbsp;</p>

Obituary

Mary Theresa DiMatteo, age 93, passed away on May 10, 2021.  Born in Denver, CO, she was the daughter of  Mary and Frank Bohte,  She was was the first of eight children, Frank,  Agnes (Lester Johnson), Dorothy (Weldon Thomas), Peter (Joan), Paul, Anna Mae (Bob Pekish), Lillian (Larry Shoup).
