<p>Nancy Hrinya Tannery</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br /> On Friday, May 14, 2021. Beloved wife of Rick Tannery; mother of Emily Tannery and Sarah Tannery; daughter of Eleanor and Leo Hrinya; sister of Jan Gardner (John), Stephen Hrinya (Elizabeth), and Mark Hrinya (Joyce); aunt of John, Rachel and Mallory Gardner, Ryan, Alex, and Jan Hrinya, Amy and Kara Campbell, William, Mathew and James Tannery. An accomplished librarian and administrator who loved her family, friends, books, and a good glass of wine, Nancy was a retired assistant provost and former senior associate director of the medical library at the University of Pittsburgh, who was recognized as Academic Medical Librarian of the Year by the Medical Library Association.&nbsp; Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. (freyvogelfuneralhome.com), 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street, on Monday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m.&nbsp;Funeral Tuesday, Mass of Christian Burial, St. Mary Magdalene Parish, St. Bede Church at 10a.m. Interment following in Calvary Cemetery. Remembrances in Nancy&#39;s name may&nbsp;be made to a library of your choice.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

On Friday, May 14, 2021. Beloved wife of Rick Tannery; mother of Emily Tannery and Sarah Tannery; daughter of Eleanor and Leo Hrinya; sister of Jan Gardner (John), Stephen Hrinya (Elizabeth), and Mark Hrinya (Joyce); aunt of John, Rachel and Mallory Gardner, Ryan, Alex, and Jan Hrinya, Amy and Kara Campbell, William, Mathew and James Tannery.
