Doris Mae Fry, 83, of Ravenna died Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Grand Island Regional Hospital in Grand Island. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Congregational Church in Ravenna. Rev. Jeff Zinnel will officiate. Online condolences may be directed to www.rasmussenfh.com Doris Mae Fry was born March 27, 1938 in Sloan, Iowa to Gerald J. and Dorothy M. (Craig) Stanley. She grew up in Sloan. She married Fredric S. Fry on December 21, 1956 at Climbing Hill, Iowa. The couple made their home in Broken Bow, NE where she was employed by Balingers Insurance Agency. She also lived in Fredericksburg, TX during her retirement. Doris was a member of the Lutheran Church and enjoyed camping and fishing. Survivors include her husband, Fredric, sons; David, Stanley and Greggory; daughters, Teresa Roberts and Lori Czaplewski, six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brother, Byron Stanley and sisters, Susy, Dixie and Alice. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenneth.
