Beverly Ann Smith, 84 of Jamestown passed away May 14, 2021 at Ave Maria Village.  Beverly was born July 1, 1936 in Jamestown North Dakota to William and Inga (Stamness) Rick. She was an only child.  She was raised and attended school in Jamestown graduating in 1954. Beverly married her high school sweetheart Gene Smith on November 15, 1954. They were blessed with four children and raised them on their family farm. Beverly was raised a city girl and became a wonderful talented farm wife. She was multi-talented and multi-tasking was her specialty.  She loved gardening, canning, sewing and quilting, and wasn't afraid to get in the tractor or deliver a calf.

Beverly is survived by her four children, Randy and (Bev) Smith, Grandsons Travis, Kelley, Shane Smith and granddaughter Nicole Smith. Vicki and (Matt) Walsh, granddaughters Whitney and Kaitlin Walsh, Jean and (Rich) Jaranson, grandsons Ben, Brandon, Alex Tompkins and granddaughter Megan (Brandon) Wilson. James Smith, grandson Elliot (Brittany) Smith and granddaughter Deven Smith. Beverly is survived by 16 great grandchildren and one on the way and three sisters in law; Marlene Schaffer, Marge Schnaufer, and Mary Lynn Smith.

Beverly was greeted in heaven by her parents William and Inga Rick, husband Gene Smith and granddaughter Jessica Smith.

 

Visitation: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday, May 17, 2021 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 10:30 am, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Pingree Lutheran Church with Pastor Candyce Wick officiating.

Burial: Pingree Cemetery
