Marlow: Thomas Lee Wood, 74, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Marlow. At the family's request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Cremation and all arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. Thomas was born Sunday, November 24, 1946 in Elk City, to Herman H. and Violet (Teeter) Wood. He was a 1964 graduate of Sterling High School. Thomas was a proud member of the United States Air Force from 1965-1969. He married the love of his life, Pasty Ann Webb, April 30, 1971 in Lawton, and they celebrated more than 50 years of marriage. Thomas lived at the same address in Marlow for most of his life, and he was employed by Halliburton as a machinist. He enjoyed shooting, hunting, and gunsmithing. Thomas was also a very creative man, and he enjoyed fabricating useful things from nothing. Most importantly, he loved his family and loved spending time with them. Survivors include, wife of the home, 2 sons, Thomas Wood Jr. of Marlow, and Michael Pickens and Spouse Mick of PA, 2 daughters, Terri Vernon of Marlow, and Lorri and husband Floyd, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and sister, Betty Wood of FL.
