Marvin enjoyed being outdoors.  He was passionate about nature.  He loved trees, wildlife and gardening.  He often went camping when his children were young and enjoyed visiting different places in his RV later in life.

Marvin is survived by his two loving daughters, Danielle (husband Mike) Grant of Huntsville, Alabama and April Hieb (husband Travis Niles) of Waubay, South Dakota; and three grandchildren Wesley O’Donnell, Haley Grant and Hayden Niles.  Two brothers Orville Hieb of Flower Mound, Texas and Dean Hieb of Bismarck, North Dakota; and one sister Emma Hieb of Flower Mound, Texas.  He also has several nephews and nieces.
