Mr. Omar Pence Bennett, age 78 of Felton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at his residence.  He was born January 29, 1943, in Bremen, GA, to the late William Edgar Bennett and Estelle Dobbs Bennett.  Omar was a master tile setter, working in the tile/masonry business for over 55 years.  He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, and he was an avid outdoorsman.  Omar enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and gardening.  His life was his family and his farm.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his friend and mother of his children, Connie Bennett; children and grandchildren: Brandi and Alex Easterwood of Bremen and their children, Tylor and Blake Cox; Sherri Rogers of Buchanan and her children, Miranda Rogers, Kailyn Rogers, and Kallie (Shawn) Hamilton; and Brad and Mandy Bennett of Temple, and their children, Braderick Bennett, Cami Bennett, Lei'la Bennett, Jacyne Hopkins, and Elijah Nixon.  Also surviving are his precious great-grandchildren, Charleigh Worthy, Jesse Iacono, and Jorge Iacono; sisters, Opal Bass of Mobile, AL; Cheryl and Dennis DiSantis of Stone Mountain; Joan and Lawrence Blackmon of Mobile; special nephews, Chris (Cheryl Meeks) Bishop; Shannon Reagan, and Wayne Miller; and several other nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services for Mr. Omar Bennett will be conducted on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Union Grove Baptist Church in Felton with Pastor John McAleese officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 14th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday at the church from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour.  Interment will follow in Union Grove Church Cemetery.
