Our beloved mother, Violet J. Fritts, born in May 1940 in Tuscaloosa AL. to the late Mr. and Mrs. Elizy & Viola (Mason) Johnson, passed from this life on May 10, 2021. Ms. Violet J. Fritts moved to Smyrna Delaware in 2015 from Niagara Falls NY. Violet retired from Nabisco Brands of Western New York after 25 years. She was a member of Whatcoat United Methodist Church of Smyrna Delaware, but often visited and supported many other Church’s. Violet was also a respected member of the Elks Lodge of Niagara Falls NY. Violet enjoyed gardening, spending time with friends and family, being with her dogs, reading, working puzzle books, playing cards, and of course bingo as well as bringing people together for a good meal. She was predeceased in death by son, Frank Wallace and a grandson, Franchot Wallace Jr; 9 siblings, Sarah Hunt, Dorothy Ellis, Laura Wright, Elizy Jr., David Johnson, Frank Johnson, Robert Johnson, all of N.Y., Lizzy Prince of AL. and an infant. She is survived by her sons Clyde Wallace, (Ophelia) of DE., Larry Wallace (Pearl) of SC, Franchot Wallace, (Shanna) of DE., James Fritts, (Scott) of Manhattan NY. Violet absolutely adored all of her 9 grandchildren, a plethora of great grandchildren. Violet enjoyed a host of aunts, special sisters in law, Clotee Johnson, Loise Johnson; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and confidants. A special acknowledgement to her loving God-daughter, Ella Dolson. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to be made to the American Kidney Foundation/fund.
