<p>Fishkill- Casey “Potato” Orts, a long-time resident of Fishkill, NY, passed away May 10, 2021. She was 26. </p><p><br></p><p>Casey was born in Bronxville, NY on July 12, 1994, the daughter of Sergio and Donna (Gonzalez) Orts. </p><p><br></p><p>Casey was the life of the party, a ray of sunshine and would light up any room with her infectious smile and laugh. She came through for anyone who needed her for something and was a protector of all. </p><p><br></p><p>She was a patient care assistant with Unlimited Care Inc. in Poughkeepsie, NY and was her own father’s primary caregiver along with her brother Jesse.</p><p><br></p><p>Casey is survived by her parents, Sergio and Donna Orts of Poughkeepsie; her sister and her husband Chelsea and Kenneth Blackburn; her brother Niko and his partner Tina Layman; and brother Jesse. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles Louis and Gina Gonzalez, and Vincent and Janet Gonzalez; and cousins Angelina, P.J., Dom, Vincent, and Sophia. She will be truly missed by her long-time best friend Jacquelina Sinishtaj; and her fiancé James Brand who just last week proposed to Casey. </p><p><br></p><p>Calling hours will be Saturday from 3pm-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service at 6:30pm in the funeral home.
