Mr. Brian Keith Carpenter, 53, of Mount Airy, passed away from COVID-19 on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Northern Regional Hospital.  Mr. Carpenter was born on November 15, 1967, in Orlando, Florida, to the late Donald B. and Mary Martin Carpenter.  After school, Mr. Carpenter served his country in the United States Army as an armor crewman.  Brian was the president of his own company, Emerging Markets Web Design, Inc.  He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Barbara Prudden Carpenter; three daughters: Elisabeth, Sarah, and Abigail Carpenter; three sons: Jonathan, William, and Timothy Carpenter; as well as his extended family.  Mr. Carpenter was preceded in death by his parents as well as an infant brother.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Oakdale Cemetery with Dr. Mike Shields and Josiah DeGraaf officiating.  Moody Funeral Services of Mount Airy is serving the family.  The family asks everyone attending to practice social distancing protocols and to please wear a mask.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
