Dora Emilia Hidalgo Castro, 59 Newark Resident. On May 10, 2021, Dora Emilia Hidalgo Castro, 59 got her wings and went to walk with the angels. Dora was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and immigrated to the United States in 1979. Dora was the proud mother of 5 children. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children. Anyone who knew them knew that she was a star in their eyes, and that is all that ever mattered to her. She always provided support and love for her family. Dora is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Pablo Roger Olivera; her mother Graciela Hidalgo Castro; her daughter Roxana B Olivera, her sons Roger Olivera, Randall Rodrigo Olivera, Ronald Roger Olivera, Roger Olivera and Rualdo Olivera, her sisters Elieth, Mercedes, and Lourdes Hidalgo and her brothers Juan, Jose Luis, Norberto, Oscar and Hugo Hidalgo. Dora will also be missed by her many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her father Jacobo Hidalgo, her sister Gladys (nee Hidalgo) Calderon and her brother Ramiro Hidalgo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass in her memory at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church Newark on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery North Arlington at 12:30 P.M. Visitation will be on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. at Alverez Funeral Home of Newark, NJ.
