Charles "Chuck" Eggensammer age 82 of Crystal Lake, IL passed away at his home on May 4, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 25, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Carl and Ann (Dowidat) Eggensammer. He married G.G Gradall on February 1, 1989 in Schaumburg, IL. Chuck worked for the railroad for 46 years and found a passion for travel through his years at the railroad. Chuck had many passions in life such as: animals, racing pigeons, collecting stamps and coins, and reading. Chuck is survived by his wife, G.G, his daughter: Charlotte Dioguardi, two loving sons, Charles, and Curt. Son in law George Dioguardi. Grandchildren: Hillary (Cody) Williams, Danny, Carrie, Nicholas, and two great grandchildren; Kane and Piper, siblings Richard and Nancy. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Cynthia, and brother Frank. Church services will be held on May 27, 2021 at The Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 Bull Valley Rd. McHenry, IL 60050.
