Marian Elizabeth (nee Saathoff) Pierzynsk, age 103, was born on December 11, 1917 in Mount Olive, Illinois. Loving wife of the late Richard I. Pierzynski. Dearest mother of James (Gloria Lisula) Pierzynski, Susan Andrew and Bruce Andrews. Cherished grandmother of Richard (Andrea Mazur) Pierzynski and Rachel Pierzynski (Konner Parrish). She was also a fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah Saathoff; sisters and brothers, Rose Arends, Christine Schoppman, Eugene Saathoff, Freida Fellin, Victor Saathoff, Helen Fitzgerald, Evelyn Donna, Wilbert Saathoff, Gloria Wullaert and John and Elaine in infancy. Sister-in-law of the late Virginia and Raymond Barkus and their children, Raymond and Anne (Walsh) Barkus and, Virginia and Paul Jarman. Visitation will be held on May 16, 2021 from 1-5 P.M. at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora, IL 60506. Family and friends will meet at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S. Eola Rd., Aurora, IL 60504. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.
