After a short battle with cancer, Christel passed away peacefully at Hospice Renfrew, Wednesday May 5, 2021 and went home to be with her Saviour, Jesus Christ. Predeceased by her husband Paddy Bailey, and sister Brigitta. She is survived by her son Louis Neumann (Lisa), her daughter Angela Bemister (Stephen), her grandchildren Corry, Alex, Morgan, Ethan, and Linden as well as her sisters Vera and Annita. The family would sincerely like to thank the amazing staff at Hospice Renfrew for their phenomenal and heartfelt care and compassion during Christel’s stay there. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider making a donation to Hospice Renfrew in memory of Christel. Honouring Christel’s wishes, there will be a simple private burial service with immediate family present only.
