<p>Nancie Ann O&#39;Connor Sumrall, 64, passed away peacefully in her home on May 3, 2021, with her husband, Kevin by her side.<br /> <br /> She was born on May 25, 1956 in NYC. After moving to Russellville, Arkansas in 1969 with her family, she graduated from Russellville High School in 1974. In 1975, she moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and studied Fine Arts at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Nancie was a talented painter and artist and while attending college, she began working in jewelry sales. It was within that line of work that she met her husband, Kevin. She married Kevin in July 1983. Later the couple owned Traditional Jewelers in Edgewater Mall and became familiar faces to the Gulf Coast Community.<br /> <br /> Nancie is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel O&#39;Connor and Norma Hopkins; and her beloved chihuahua rescue, Nutsie.<br /> <br /> She is survived by her husband, Kevin Sumrall of Gulfport, MS; her daughter, Rachel Lorio (Taylor) of Metairie, LA; and two grandsons, Thomas and Charlie. She is also survived by four siblings: Kathleen Shoenfeld (Jon), Richard O&#39;Connor (Tracy), Kevin O&#39;Connor (Debbie), and Carole Vann (Terry); a step-daughter, Ashley Wittman (Michael); and three step-grandchildren, Caiden, Bryson, and Adeline.<br /> <br /> A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 3pm, at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport, MS. Following the service, a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Bayou View Park at 4:30pm.<br /> <br /> RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is serving the family.<br /> &nbsp;</p>

Nancie Ann O'Connor Sumrall, 64, passed away peacefully in her home on May 3, 2021, with her husband, Kevin by her side.
