In Loving Memory Patricia Alynne Bernstein March 20, 1943 – May 3, 2021 Patricia Alynne Bernstein 78, of New York City, peacefully passed on May 3, 2021 at 8:00am. Her son Michael and sister Elynne were by her side. She was born March 20, 1943 to Irving and Nettye Green. She grew up in the Bronx and went to Hunter College and graduated with a teaching degree, but ultimately became a very successful meeting and event planner for Colgate Palmolive. Her creativity and attention to detail made her events unique and unforgettable. She received numerous awards and acknowledgments from her coworkers and even the venue operators. She enjoyed being with friends and family, traveling, and also volunteering with psych inpatients at Payne Whitney clinic in NYC. She was a strong and independent woman, with a great sense of humor. She had many friends that cared deeply for her and she wants them to know she is at peace now. Please remember her in your own way, thinking of the fun times and wonderful experiences you shared together. She was a loving and caring Mother and Grandmother and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son Michael, sister Elynne, brother Jeffrey, and her grandchildren Matthew and Kayla. She was cremated and her ashes rest in a beautiful, personalized urn that will be with her son, his wife, and grandchildren forever. Rest in Peace Mom, I Love You!
