Frank Luis Villa

Frank Luis Villa, 79 of Hemet, CA passed away on April 22, 2021 after a courageous battle with
prostate cancer. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Frank was born in Belvedere, CA to Jose and Carmen Villa. His family moved to Hemet when
he was a toddler. He graduated from Hemet High School. Shortly after high school he married
his sweetheart (Bonnie) and they soon began their family. They were married for 20 years.
Frank worked at Kaiser Steel Mill, Fontana where he worked until their closure. He went to
work as a driver for mobile blood drives with The Blood Bank of San Bernardino until
retirement. Once he retired, he moved back to Hemet.
Frank was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 506. He was a Past Worthy
President with his term ending May 1995. He is a Life Member of the Grand Aerie. He loved to
BBQ with friends and family. He enjoyed watching sports especially football and rooting for his
favorite team the Chargers. He was President of the “Fun Club” in the community he lived in.
In 1998 Frank would meet Sharon Goff who he would spend the next 20 years together until
her death in 2018. Frank grew fond of Sharon’s children and was very close to her youngest,
Crystal (Mark) and her two children Mark and Shelby.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Maria and Virginia, and his oldest daughter
Katherine Villa. He is survived by Bonnie Villa, son, Joseph Villa (Stacy) and daughter, Theresa
Martinez (Brett) and two grandsons Christopher and Austin Martinez, his siblings; Sylvia, Josie,
Ofelia and David.
Frank, Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Friend will be deeply missed.
A private ceremony to spread his ashes at sea will be held later this summer.
