Gloria M. (Johnson) Rice of Washington, DC passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Ms. Rice is survived by a son, Bernard Johnson; a daughter, Karen (Rice) Humes; and a host of other relatives and friends. Ms. Rice is preceded in death by her parents, James Johnson and Corene (Maynard) Johnson, and brother, George Johnson. The funeral services will also be live streamed at www.stewartfuneralhome.com. Ms. Rice will be laid to rest during a private ceremony at National Harmony Memorial Park at a later date.
