David Wayne "Dave" Uitermark, age 61, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. He was born on March 6, 1960 in Holland, MI, to his late parents: Orlan and Beatrice Uitermark. Dave lived in Georgia since 1993 and worked as a tax preparer for several years. He was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church and a proud veteran of The United States Navy. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting coins and woodworking. Mr. Uitermark was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy (David) Larabel. Mr. Uitermark is survived by his loving wife, Hope Uitermark of Aragon, GA, children: Jessica Brown of Cedartown, GA, Celia (Doug) Hall of Dalton, GA, Adam (Hayley) Bell of Dalton, GA, Erin Bell of Dalton, GA, 5 grandchildren, 2 sisters: Vickie (John) Klokkert of MI, Sally (Frank) Romanowski of VA, sister-in-law, Stacey (Brent) Ledford of Adairsville, GA, special friend, Annette Oller of Aragon, GA, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. David Wayne "Dave" Uitermark will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Snapp officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for a visitation on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the service begins at 1:00 PM.
