Lillian E. Beard, age 87, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Lill was born in Copley, OH and graduated from Copley High School. She retired from Copley-Fairlawn Schools and volunteered at Hospice. She was a life-long member of Norton Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir.

Lill was preceded in death by husband James; and sisters, Hazel and Helen. Lill is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Mickey) Bridwell, Louisville, KY; son, James W (Claudia) Beard, Copley, OH; grandchildren, Jill, Alyson, Justin, Taylor; and four great grandchildren.

The family would like to recognize and extend our sincere gratitude to Dee, Alesha, Alison, Kayla and Stacey, Lill's care givers. You are amazing people and we are forever grateful for all of the wonderful care you have provided.

The family will receive friends at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Road, Copley on Wednesday May 5, 2021 with a funeral service starting at 3:00 PM and calling hours immediately following from 4:00-7:00 PM. A private burial will be conducted at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
