<p><br /> Sherry A. McGill, 55, of Rome, OH passed away the afternoon of April 27, 2021.</p> <p>Sherry was born October 3, 1965 in New Castle, PA. She is the daughter of Lee A. Plonka, and Peggy L. (Temenski) Plonka, who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Union High School, class of 1983 and a certified x-ray technician.</p> <p>In her life, Sherry loved and cherished her daughters Alex and Janis most of all. She loved live rock music, owning and riding her horses, her dogs and animals, and spending time at Lake Erie. She always wanted to be with family and friends. She was cared for by good friends Rod, Bud, and Mark. Sherry was a free spirit who enjoyed riding motorcycles and “being in the wind.”</p> <p>Sherry is survived by her father, Lee A. Plonka, two daughters Janis L. McGill and Alexandra M. Plonka, siblings Brandon A. Plonka and Leanna L. Plonka with wife RaeAnn Taylor, and son Shay Isaac.</p> <p>Following in her wishes, there are no calling hours scheduled. A celebration of life/memorial service will be held at a later date for her family. Local arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 Mill Street.</p>October 3, 1965 - April 27, 202110/03/196504/27/2021
