Amy Weaver McNally

Amy Weaver McNally passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on April 15, 2016 while traveling in Missouri. Amy was born in Warrenton, VA on October 19, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Barret Weaver, Sr. and Grace Garrison Weaver of Twin Oaks Farm in Remington, VA. She was a graduate of Richmond Memorial Hospital's Nursing Program and devoted nearly her entire nursing career to Fauquier Hospital, where she retired after 36 years. Amy treasured any time she could spend with family, especially vacations to the Outer Banks each summer, holiday gatherings and visiting her grandsons at college. She and Harvey enjoyed traveling to see family and friends in New England, Missouri and Arizona. She is survived by her daughter, Karen, and her son-in-law and grandson, Mark and Cade Brandt of South Riding, VA; her twin grandsons Matt and John Hayes and her son-in-law Tom Hayes of Round Hill VA; and her fiance Harvey Chase of Remington VA, and numerous other family members. In addition to her parents, Amy was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Robin, and by her brother, Barret Weaver Jr. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 22 from 7-9 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton VA. Interment will be private. A celebration of her life will be held at Stone Ridge Event Center on May 22 from 3:30-5 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Lord Fairfax Community College, 6480 College Street, Warrenton, VA 20187 for a nursing scholarship in memory of Amy Weaver McNally. Worked with Amy at Fauquier Hospital also and enjoyed having grandchildren the same year. We enjoyed sharing that love. Amy was full of love, grace, and beauty. Family was her life and she loved Robin and Karen with all of it. Rest in Peace, My Friend.
