Nelson Besosa, 87, of Bloomfield, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Nelson served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was employed by Hoffman LaRoche for over 25 years. After his retirement he was employed at the Amvets and American Legion Posts in Belleville. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. Nelson is survived by his wife Josephine (nee Annicchiarico), daughter Victoria LaTorraca, Lori Schlomann and her husband John, grandchildren Anthony and Nicholas LaTorracca, Johnny, Joey, and Jessica Schlomann. He was predeceased by his brother Jordan, and sisters Mary, Gloria, Essie, and Millie. Visitation is Monday 4-8pm. Mass 9:30am Tuesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield. Entombment follows in Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover.
