Kaitlyn L. Carson

Kaitlyn L. Carson, 31, of Catasauqua, died Saturday April 24th, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Ryan A. Carson and would have celebrated 6 years of marriage this coming July. Born in Suffern, NY she is the daughter of Wallace and Denise (Crotty) Doremus. Kaitlyn worked as a German Teacher for the Nazareth Area Middle School. She received her Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education and German from the University of Scranton and a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from Kutztown University. While at The University of Scranton, she earned the distinct honor of being a Fulbright Scholar which allowed her to live and teach English in Aachen, Germany. Kaitlyn loved books and reading. She enjoyed painting, traveling, spending time with her husband and their son Teddy and of course their pets. Surviving along with her husband and parents are her son Theodore L. Carson; brother Bryan Doremus and wife Carolina Willsen; her maternal grandmother Carole Crotty; a niece and nephew, cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws. Her services will be at 6pm Thursday, April 29th, 2021 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 Chestnut Street, Coplay, PA 18037. Her viewing will be from 4-6pm Thursday at the funeral home. We ask that all in attendance practice social distancing and wear facial covering. Memorial contributions may be made to Kaitlyn's husband, Ryan A.
