Frances A. Miller

Frances A. Miller, 95, passed away on April 21, 2021. She was born September 28, 1925 in Danville, KY to Robert and Nannie Baker. She worked as the head cook for Manchester Schools from 1960 to 1970 and attended Manchester United Methodist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, crocheting afghans, embroidery, and volunteering with the MDD.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Roy E. Miller Jr.; and daughters, Nancy Miller and Barbara Byers. She is survived by sons, Roy E. Miller III (Jackie) and Timothy (Jodi) Miller; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Bacher Moore Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 9 to 10 a.m., where services will be held at 10 a.m. Interment at Manchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Summit County Special Olympics, c/o Weaver Workshop, 89 E. Howe Rd., Akron, OH 44310 in memory of Frances. For the safety of the family and other guests, masks are required, and the number of people permitted in the building at a time will be limited. Your cooperation and patience are appreciated.
