Jana Page Snipes, 57, died Friday, April 16, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville where she was airlifted after suffering a stroke at her home in Atlantic, NC early Easter morning. Jana was born in Nashville, Tennessee on March 18, 1964 to the late Ronald Lee Page and Fay Jones Page. She was a partner in Snipes Body Shop of Goldsboro with her husband of 18 years, Chuck Snipes, who survives her. Also surviving are four sisters: Sherry Beasley (Terry) of La Grange, Schuyler Harper (Jerry) of Albertson, Tandra Harper (Donald) of Deep Run, and Tara Hines (Keith) of Goldsboro; and numerous nephews and nieces including Allie and Sydney who spent many happy childhood days with Jana and Chuck at Atlantic, and an aunt, Emily Swinson of Greenville. Jana also leaves behind close in laws: her mother-in-law, Lu Snipes of Goldsboro, her sister-in-law Donna Schoettmer of Dallas, Texas and her three sons, Stephen, Jeff, and Michael, as well as an aunt, uncle, and cousin by marriage (Billie and Don Stallings and Herb Evans of Rocky Mount). Jana was known in Goldsboro for her elaborate Christmas and especially Halloween decorations and treats which were enjoyed every year by literally hundreds of children. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 27 at 11 AM at Fairview Cemetery in La Grange. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in her memory to the Salvation Army, P.O.
