Sharon Ann Ohler, 66, of Purdy, MO, passed from this life on Sunday morning, April 18, 2021 while at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO. Sharon was born on July 12, 1954 in Jamestown, NY, daughter of William Harvey Stubbs and Dorothy Pearl (German) Stubbs. She graduated from Bell High School in Bell, CA, with the Class of 1972 and then attended the Jamestown Community College. For several years, she worked as a Florist and was talented at designing arrangements for weddings and other special events. Later, Sharon worked for almost twenty years at George’s in Butterfield. Sharon had a strong and great relationship with her Lord and Savior. She was a charter-member of New Freedom Worship Center in Purdy. She loved singing, decorating the church building and especially spending time with her grandchildren and making Christmas and year-round holiday. Sharon married Mike Ohler on August 6, 1977 in Bell, CA. To this union, two daughters were born. Sharon will lovingly be remembered by her daughters, Chrissy Hancock, of Purdy, MO and Janelle Morgan (Adam), of Purdy, MO; ten grandchildren: Austin Hancock (Kenzie), Audrey Hancock, Avery Hancock, Anastasia Morgan, Jaden Morgan, Michael Morgan, Karmen Morgan, Kori Morgan, Ethan Morgan and Waylon Morgan; three great-grandchildren: Rylee Hancock, Preslee Henderson and Grayson Hancock; one brother, Robert Johnson (Clint); one sister, Lori Jean Lopez; her step-mother, Veda Stubbs; two step-brothers, Punky and Clyde Kepler; and two step-sisters, Brenda Merwick and Crystal Bonafede. Sharon was also a favorite Aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, William Stubbs and Dorothy Johnson; one brother, Bill Stubbs; her step-father, Bob Johnson; and one step-brother, Ronald Kepler. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 at the New Freedom Worship Center in Purdy with Reverend Joe Wogoman officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are being directed to the family in care of the funeral home.
