<p>Mary “Bonnie” Shea, 79, of Middletown, NJ passed away on April 19, 2021. </p><p><br></p><p>Born in Brooklyn, NY to Dominic and Kathleen Toal (nee Moroney), Bonnie attended Berkeley Secretarial School and went on to work at Mid Atlantic Eye Center for over 20 years until her recent retirement. In 1973 she married the love of her life, James Shea. Together, Bonnie and Jim had two children, Bryan and Meredith. Bonnie loved music, dancing, travel, and spending time with family and friends- especially her four grandchildren, Molly, Abigael, James, and Maisie. </p><p><br></p><p>Bonnie is predeceased by her husband James Shea and parents Dominic and Kathleen. She is survived by her brother Jack Toal and sister-in-law Pam, children Bryan Shea and wife Michele, Meredith Shea Carrillo and husband Nick, grandchildren Abigael and Maisie and Molly and James, and numerous close friends and neighbors, including her best friend of 67 years, Margaret Cawley. </p><p><br></p><p>Bonnie will be reposing at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday April 24th from 9-11am. 1735 rt 35 Middletown NJ. Mass of Christian Burial 12:30pm at St. James Church in Redbank NJ followed by interment at Holmdel Cemetery, entrance on Roberts Road. </p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Firefighter Michael J. Cawley Memorial Foundation, 148-32 Kalmia Avenue, Flushing, NY 11355</p>
