<p><span style="font-size:16px;">On Friday April 16, 2021 David Basick died in Portland, OR from MDS at the age of 80.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Dave was born in Portland, OR to Daniel and Bernice Basick. Dave grew up in Helvetia, OR where his love for adventure cultivated his lifelong love of nature, especially birds. He was a woodworker, stained glass maker, sketch artist and loved to share those skills with his grandchildren.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Dave was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice; father, Daniel; brother, Richard; and son, Daniel.He is survived by wife, Sandra; daughter, Annemarie; stepchildren, Steve, Meadow, and Cedar; first wife, Frances-Joan, grandchildren, niece and cousins.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">No funeral is scheduled at this time.
