<p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Marcos Gonzalez&nbsp;Camargo</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Age 70 of Joliet, passed away on Monday April 19, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Marcos was born in Ciudad, Manuel Doblado, Guanajuato, Mexico and was a son of Apolinar Camargo and Maria Luisa Gonzalez.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>He worked as a groundskeeper at Prestwick Country Club for over 30 years until starting his own landscaping business which he named MC Landscaping. Marcos&rsquo; customers really appreciated the pride that he took in his work and earned a reputation of being &ldquo;The Best!&rdquo;. Marcos continued that work until he became ill with cancer.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Marcos loved to work and worked from</strong></span><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>&nbsp;sun up until sun down. In his free time, he loved to watch soccer every chance he got. He was a great fan of the Chivas soccer team, as well as sausage pizza. Whenever he could, Marcos would stop at speedway to grab some coffee and a crossword lotto hoping to win big one day. In our eyes we were already big winners because God gave him to us.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Marcos made sure his family had everything they needed and was a hard-working man even at home. He loved planting his vegetable garden and also would make a beautiful flower garden just for his wife. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Marcos was preceded in death by his father: Apolinar Camargo; mother: Maria Luisa Gonzalez; brothers: Francisco, Jesus, Victor and Crispin; sister: Maria, and son: Alvaro Camargo.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>He is survived by his wife: Lisa;&nbsp;his daughter: Maria Luisa Camargo; son: Marcos Camargo, Jr., as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>A celebration of Marcos&#39; life will begin on Friday, April 23, 2021 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family invites relatives and friends to gather on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Joliet. Masks and social distancing practices are required.</strong></span></p>

Marcos Gonzalez Camargo

Age 70 of Joliet, passed away on Monday April 19, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

Marcos was born in Ciudad, Manuel Doblado, Guanajuato, Mexico and was a son of Apolinar Camargo and Maria Luisa Gonzalez.
