Johann (John) Franz Levinski, age 74, died April 18th, 2021 in Hillsborough, NJ. John was born July 3, 1946 in Munich, Germany. His father was an American Army soldier during World War II and met John’s mother after the war. They moved to America when John was 3 years old and resided in New Brunswick, NJ. John graduated New Brunswick High School in 1964 and then attended drafting school. He then enlisted in the Army and became a decorated soldier of the Vietnam War where he served for 2 years. He worked at NJ Bell, Avaya, Lucent Technologies as a repairman, tester and installer for 35 years. In 1992, John married his wife Nancy Rizzo. As a young man he developed a passion for restoring, building, fixing, and collecting cars. His favorite being the Corvette. He was a member of several Corvette clubs and became known as “Corvette John”. John was generous, kind, helpful to everyone and always had a joke to make you smile. John is predeceased by his father, John Levinski, and his mother Liselotte Levinski. He is survived by his wife Nancy; brother-in-law Peter; sister-in-law Grace and husband Tom; sister-in-law Christine and husband Michael; sister-in-law Domini; nieces Rochelle; Gina; Dominirose; Victoria; and Christina, and nephew Andrew as well as 1st cousins Margaret; Patti; Charles; Gerald and James, and many 2nd cousins.
