Memorial service for Elaine Durst Long, 76, will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cherokee Presbyterian Church, 3622 Augusta Hwy, Gilbert, SC 29054 or to Amedisys Hospice, 1900 Sunset Blvd, Suite 103, West Columbia SC 29169. 

Mrs. Long passed away Monday, April 19, 2021.  Born in Batesburg, she was a daughter of the late Julian C. and Nezzie Ridgell Durst.  She was a member of Cherokee Presbyterian Church and was a retired administrative assistant. 

Surviving are her husband, Bernard “Butch” H. Long; brother, Carroll E. Butch” Durst; sisters, Kathryn Durst and Deborah Kay Durst, nieces and nephews.
