Paul W. Hershner

<p>Paul W. Hershner, 77 passed away at Atrium Medical Center on Saturday, April 17th. He was born February 5, 1944 to Wilson and Dorothy (Anderson) Hershner in Middletown, Ohio. He worked at AK Steel in the temper mills until retiring after 30 years. He was a member of Spring Hill Church of Christ where he volunteered countless hours doing any odd job that was put before him. He helped to serve and clean-up for church meals and funeral dinners for years. He was always there with a smile and helping hand. He loved woodworking. There are many donated items at Spring Hill Church, like the microwave table. He spent hours in his wood shop in his garage making and selling items in his spare time. He loved his family and spending time with them. He really enjoyed eating out and fellowshipping. He was in a group of men from Spring Hill Church the &ldquo;ROMEO&rdquo; (Retired Old Men Eating Out) group that had dinner each month. He cherished the times that he was able to go to Dallas to visit his sister, family reunions, and visiting with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.<br /> <br /> Paul is survived by his son, Shawn (Missy) Hershner of Lebanon, Ohio, grandchildren; Shawn (Beth) Hershner, Lauren Hershner, great-grandchildren; Xavier and Bella, sister, Joanna Jones of Dallas, Texas, his special friend, Carol Ledford, and Benny his loving dog. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, JoAnn Hershner and his second wife, Rose Marie (Yoho) Hershner.<br /> <br /> Visitation will be Thursday, April 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home 6850 Roosevelt Avenue. Celebration of Life Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ken Collins, Tim Hale, and Steve Elkins officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. He loved the Lord and is now home with Him and his beloved JoAnn and Rose.<br /> Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bakerstevesnaparramore.com.</p>
