Minsolean Williams Hudson Obituary

In profound sorrow, we announce the passing Mrs. Minsolean Williams Hudson, age 60 of Newnan, Georgia on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021, 1:00 PM at Eastview Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 22, 2021, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Face masks are required along with social distancing due to COVID-19. Here we are again, in an all too familiar place knowing God is God and death is not the last sleep, it is only a rest before the final awakening. God's word tells us: “There is a time and place for everything....” at this predestined time, Lena’s loved ones and friends are gathered together visualizing the arch in which the clouds moved and the celestial bodies revolve in celebration of the "home-going" of our beloved. Minsolean “Lena” Hudson was born on May 14, 1960, to the late Carolyn Rutledge Taggart, Newnan, Georgia. The person she grew to love as her father was Johnny Taggart. Lena received her formal education at South Hill High School, Pittsburgh, PA. She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age, and was united with the Saint Peter Baptist Church. Lena served as a faithful member under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth L. Curtis until her untimely death. She will be greatly missed as the head Usher and Kitchen Staff. Minsolean “Lena” Taggart was united in Holy Matrimony with Willie L. Hudson Jr., August 23, 1986, Newnan, Georgia. Their union was blessed with four (4) children. Lena was a loving, devoted and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was admired, respected and loved by all who came into her presence. Because of her servant nature Lena would spend thirty one years as a Caregiver. In her leisure time she would spend time listening to music and spend time with family and friends. Lena departed this life April 18, 2021. She was preceded in death by: Carolyn B. Taggart (Mom), Roberta B. Taggart (sister), Irene Holland (Grandmother), Elnora Taggart (Grandmother) Isaac Rutledge (Grand Father), Glenda Herring (Sister-In-Law), She leaves to cherish her memories: Her husband, Willie L. I hope life treats you kind and I hope you have all you've dreamed of. I wish you joy and happiness. But above all this I wish you love . I will always love you! MOVING IN Dear Family and Friends, I want you to know that I have moved. I RECEIVED A CALL FROM God, the chief architecture, who informed me that I could move in immediately. You know that I have been sending my timber and only the chief carpenter Jesus Christ could do. Some were a little broad, or not long enough. Well, my new home is finished and it is such a beautiful sight to behold! It is located in an exclusive estate area and it sits behind beautiful pearly gates just off a serene celestial shore. Of course, the streets are paved with gold and every day is Sunday here, I have been told. I've lived many places before my new home was prepared and none of the others compare. There is peace, joy, and happiness here with no pain to bear, no strife or discontent. There is only sweet serenity everywhere and I could go on and on about my new home, but I have to get fitted for my wings. My New Address Is: Minsolean “Lena” Hudson Psalm 119 Jesus Way God's Town, Heaven 41821 Love You All, P. S. I don't have a phone yet, just call God. If you don't have the number, He is listed in the Holy Book on every page. “This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV) FROM OUR HEARTS TO YOURS On behalf of our family, we extend our most profound gratitude and appreciation for the outpouring of love, support and other acts of kindness shown during the death of my beloved wife and the children's mother. We thank you for the prayers, visits, prepared meals, flowers, calls, emails and texts. We would like to extend a special thanks to those who may have traveled from afar to be with us. Our prayer is that God richly blesses each of you. We remain forever grateful. Special thanks to: Pastor Kenneth L. Curtis, Minister Sharon Wilkes and the Saint Peter Baptist Church, Minister Stozier and all who participated in the Celebration of Life of our Beloved Minsolean “Lena” Hudson. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. THE FAMILY
