<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Alice Byrd, age 97 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at her home in Oneida, TN.&nbsp; Born July 19, 1923 in Harlan Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late James Saylor and Sarah Smith Saylor.</strong></p> <p><strong>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband:&nbsp; Lonnie M. Love, and second husband:&nbsp; Isham Byrd; sons:&nbsp; Lonnie Allen Love and David Lee Love.</strong></p> <p><strong>Alice is survived by her son:&nbsp; John Daniel Love; daughters:&nbsp; Janette Cash and husband Norman, and Rachel McCartt; six grandchildren:&nbsp; Eugene McCartt and wife Melinda, Myona Beasley, Alvin McCartt and wife Shannon, Robert McCartt and wife Janie, Trina Bowman and husband Mark, and Joe McCartt; ten great-grandchildren:&nbsp; Charles Beasley, Joshea Beasley, Monica Beasley, Rachel Lawson and husband Josh, Alex McCartt, Shalyn Tittle, Cayden McCartt, Allisen McCartt, Elijah McCartt, Emmalynn Bowman; two great-great grandchildren:&nbsp; Arieanna Riley and Eli Lawson; and many other family members and friends.</strong></p> <p><strong>Friends may visit with the Byrd family on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones &amp; Son Funeral Home with Bro. Clark Posey officiating.&nbsp; Music will be provided by the Posey Family Singers.</strong></p> <p><strong>Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Butler-McCartt Cemetery in Robbins, TN.&nbsp; Pallbearers will be:&nbsp; Eugene McCartt, Alvin McCartt, Robert McCartt, Mark Bowman, Joe McCartt, Elijah McCartt, Charles Beasley and Alex McCartt.</strong></p> <p><strong>With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.&nbsp; Masks are required.</strong></p> <p><strong>Jones &amp; Son Funeral Home is serving the family of Alice Byrd.</strong></p>

Alice Byrd, age 97 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at her home in Oneida, TN.  Born July 19, 1923 in Harlan Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late James Saylor and Sarah Smith Saylor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband:  Lonnie M. Love, and second husband:  Isham Byrd; sons:  Lonnie Allen Love and David Lee Love.

Alice is survived by her son:  John Daniel Love; daughters:  Janette Cash and husband Norman, and Rachel McCartt; six grandchildren:  Eugene McCartt and wife Melinda, Myona Beasley, Alvin McCartt and wife Shannon, Robert McCartt and wife Janie, Trina Bowman and husband Mark, and Joe McCartt; ten great-grandchildren:  Charles Beasley, Joshea Beasley, Monica Beasley, Rachel Lawson and husband Josh, Alex McCartt, Shalyn Tittle, Cayden McCartt, Allisen McCartt, Elijah McCartt, Emmalynn Bowman; two great-great grandchildren:  Arieanna Riley and Eli Lawson; and many other family members and friends.
