Florence Mittler nee Berman passed away April 16th in Denver, CO. Florence Mittler was born in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph “Joe” and Eva Berman on December 6, 1934. She graduated Thomas Jefferson HS and earned an AA in Brooklyn. She married Leo Mittler on December 6,1958. The Mittlers first resided in New York, before moving to Denver in 1973. They opened The Auto Service House, repair company. Florence worked with Leo and volunteered many hours at the Rodef Shalom gift shop. In 1986 they retired to Palm Desert, California. In 2017 they returned to Denver to be by their family and long time friends. Florence Mittler loved her family, art, jewelry, reading, the theater and traveling around the world. Florence’s husband Leo, a Holocaust survivor, passed away just last year April 11. She is survived by their children Edie Joyce Mittler residing in Florida, Felice Lynn Mittler and Perry Michael Mittler residing in Colorado. Jordan Elan Mittler is her only Grandchild by Edie Mittler. Private burial; Memorial Service, Tuesday, April 20, 2021, 12:00 PM at Hebrew Educational Alliance, 3600 S Ivanhoe Way, Denver, CO 80237.
