Vicki May Weitz Littleton, Colorado Obituary

Vicki May Weitz

After an exhausting battle with multiple health issues. Vicki May Weitz passed peacefully at her home in Arvada, CO surrounded by loved ones shortly after noon Friday April 09, 2021. Born June 16, 1948 in Sheridan, WY to parents Virginia Wood and John Arciniega. Vicki eventually settled in Cheyenne graduating from East High School in 1967. After high school she traveled across the country to work as an au pair in Long Island, NY eventually coming back to Cheyenne where she met her husband, James B. Weitz (d.2000). Together they moved to Arvada, CO where she spent the remainder of her life working hard as a dedicated mom raising her two sons, grandson, three cats and two dogs. Vicki will be remembered as a caring, giving and loving spirit. Someone who friends and family could confide in for a sympathetic ear and depend on for some helpful advice. She loved all animals and wildlife, the outdoors, reading, cooking, traveling, gardening and just enjoying life and bringing together all the loved ones she held dear. Tragically Vicki was taken from this world too soon. She will be deeply missed, and her legacy will forever remain a positive ray of hope, love and light on those whose lives she touched. She is survived by her sons Michael Allen and Val James, grandson Riley, daughter-in-law Celeste, brothers John and Larry, sisters Denise and Kyle, her nieces Angie, Andrea and Josephine and nephews John, Travis, Josh, James and Gerald. A celebration of remembrance for Vicki will be held 1:00pm on Thursday, April 22nd at St. Mark's Episcopal Church 1908 Central Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
