Terry Floyd Davis

Terry Floyd Davis, age 63, of Asheboro passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 due to a motorcycle accident. Mr. Davis was born in Montgomery County on January 31, 1958 to Floyd and Marie Morton Davis. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a truck driver for the Bulk Mail Service in Greensboro. Terry was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Davis, and his mother and stepfather, Marie Davis Edwards and Bob Edwards. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and bird watching, and he loved riding his Harley motorcycle. Terry was a faithful and loving father, grandfather, and brother, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. He is survived by his son, Terry Lee Davis of Asheboro; grandchildren, Brianna, Zachary, Emma, and Evan Davis; sisters, Brenda Johnson (EJ) of Asheboro and Candy Allen (Ronnie) of Asheboro; cousin and best friend, Steven Davis of Asheboro; his canine companion, Brudo; nephews, Dax Allen (Karen), Brent Allen (Crystal); niece, Kristie Bivins (Ryan); great nieces and nephews, Cruise Allen, Nova Allen, Macy Allen, Brendan Norris, Butter Bivins, Belle Bivins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 12:30-1:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Byerly officiating. Memorials may be made to the Uwharrie Volunteer Fire Department, 3147 NC Hwy 109 N, Troy, NC 27371 or the Freedom Baptist Church Building Fund, 2178 N. Asheboro School Rd., Asheboro, NC 27203.

Neil and I send our deepest condolences to Terry's family and friends, I can still see him running and playing when Marie was married to my uncle. Mom and I used to go see them once in a while. Always enjoyed going to visit them
